We get it: It's easy to fall into a weekend makeup rut, wearing the same old cat-eye or smoky eyeliner every time you venture out past 8 p.m. And while it's incredibly useful to have an evening go-to that you know you feel great wearing, we could all use a refresh once in a while.
To help you deliver on the promise you just made to us, we've rounded up four totally different eyeliner looks (for all skill levels) that will inspire you this weekend. And to make it easy, we've included the products you need to make them a cinch to accomplish, too. Check them out in the slides, ahead.

The Look: Shimmering rose eyes
Difficulty Level: Easy

Wearing a shimmery, rose-colored eye may seem intimidating, but it's actually wildly flattering on nearly everyone. And unlike many unexpected hues like blue or green, you can sheer it out and it still looks fresh and pretty. Translation: It's a foolproof venture into color.
Makeup artist Mary Phillips used shadow to create this look on Khloé Kardashian last weekend, but you can pick up a shadow-eyeliner hybrid, which will make it much easier. Simply draw a thick line around the eye, with the majority of the color concentrated on the outer half, and then smudge with your finger. Tip: Blend quickly, as shadow sticks will set — and stay — fast.

The Look: The super cat-eye
Difficulty Level: Medium

Makeup artist Mai Quynh gave Sarah Hyland an elongated cat-eye earlier this week using Bobbi Brown's gel liner and a steady hand. To get the high-impact look, she suggests creating a guideline with a trusty pencil liner. "Then, go over it with gel or liquid liner to intensify your wing," she explains.
Use a small, stiff brush for accuracy or a slanted-tip brush, like E.L.F.'s Angled Eyeliner Brush, if you're opting for gel. Then, just use a cotton swab dipped in makeup remover to clean up any mistakes, she says.

The Look: The sapphire smoky eye
Difficulty Level: Easy

If you, like Shay Mitchell, love a smoky eye, this easy color update will revitalize your go-to look. Beginner? It's just as easy to pull off as a traditional smoky eye, since it's softer than black. Simply swap in a blue shade, like makeup artist Patrick Ta did with Honest Beauty's liner. He applied shadow in a matching hue on the actress' lid, then used this liner on Mitchell's lashline, smudging it to soften the look.
Tip: Build slowly and use the included buffer on the pencil to blend as you go. If all else fails, you can clean up any mistakes (or reign in the shape) with a cotton swap dipped in makeup remover.

The Look: The triple line
Difficulty Level: Advanced

Ta also created this '60s-inspired look for Gigi Hadid. Although it takes some guts to wear, it's not as hard to accomplish as you may think. The secret is having a liner that goes on smoothly, but sets to a lasting finish. We like Tarte's formula for its thin size and waterproof finish.
First, be sure you have some cotton swabs dipped in makeup remover handy (you're sensing a trend that this is key, right?). Create a tight line along the top lashes that gets thicker as you go outward. Then, lightly draw under the bottom lashline so the two meet at the outer corners of your eyes. Leave the waterline bare.
Now, onto the final line. The goal is to create a thin shape that's parallel to the one you drew on your top lashline. It should sit just above the crease of your eye.
Tip: Use your liner to create small, soft dots where you think the line should be on both eyes first. This is far easier to correct. Once you have your shape, go ahead and draw the line.
